A.W.A or Alice With Alex is a great new brand created by two urban cyclists for urban cyclists.
A.W.A are seriously passionate about fashion designing high-end garments without compromising on style and ensuring that the clothes are comfortable, functional and elegant. So you can only imagine my eagerness and excitement to test these out on my cycle commute to work.
In the end I wore these 3 days in a row. The more I wore them the more I fell in love with them.
And here is why.
First of, these trousers are seriously light. The fabric is highly breathable and unlike cycling in sturdy denims or work trousers A.W.A’s are very easy to move around in.
The 3XDRY technology means that the fabric absorbs and wicks away moisture, as well as being water-repellent. Perfect for when you get caught in a rain on the way to work as it means the fabric is dry by the time you reach your desk.
Secondly, I just love how smart they look. Not only these come in the most beautiful packaging that makes them a perfect Xmas present, the dark navy colour is very versatile and goes with pretty much everything in my wardrobe. Win – win there!
The reflective stripe detail is pure genius as there are several ways to roll them up making yourself more visible to other road users.
And finally, A.W.A’s trousers are actually made in France. Being manufactured in one of the best workshops, where other prestigious haute-couture brands produce their clothes mean that customers like me get the best quality and experience whilst commuting.
Alice with Alex really thought of every detail to ensure smooth commuting by bicycle
and I couldn’t be more grateful that there is finally a brand that designs clothing smart enough for meetings
yet comfortable for my 20km cycling ride to work.
