CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE FOR A CYCLIST
Only 18 days left until Christmas, and if like me you haven’t even started looking for gifts yet this might be a useful post for you. Here is what will be on my Christmas list, in other words what to get someone who cycles daily:
Bike handle bars
Bobbin Cork are great alternative grips for classic bikes and are surprisingly affordable at £9.99.
There are lots of really good gift ideas on cyclechic.co.uk but my favourite has to be this wheel pillow by Stitch-Mi-Lane £34. Unlike the really thing this gift is cuddly an d clean.
Pluck’d reflective hat or mittens (above), each £50 will keep you warm and safe.
Don’t forget to use code HELLOPLUCKD15 to get 20% off your order.
Alternatively, for the DIY lovers you can always knit them yourself using a reflective yarn.
Warning: this might take a while!
The people’s poncho (right) £48 is a handy waterproof mac that not only keeps you and your bike dry during the rainy ride, but can also double up as a perfect festival poncho.
Spur cycle $49 bell (above) to add quality design and sound to your ride.
Now Something different
Volvo LifePaint can literally save a cyclist life and can be sprayed onto clothing and shoes as well as your bike. Would work as a perfect gift for aspiring street artists too!
This little multi tool £9.95 that fits perfectly in your handbag is a handy Christmas sock filler and will save you many trips to the mechanic.
Tickets to Olympic Velodrome £35 to fulfil that ambition of riding like an Olympian. Who wouldn’t like to ride on one of the best Velodrome in the country where history was made almost 4 years ago. They also have Women’s Only Taster BMX session for only £10.
Personalised art poster involving a bike is always a good gift too. Especially for anyone who has just moved into a new house.
WOHO flying fender $9.99 is a handy bike accessory for all the fixie riders, apparently with this fender ‘water will be scared’!
If you are still short of Christmas gift ideas for a cyclist, I highly recommend simply checking notonthehighstreet.com or etsy.com for more awesome bicycle related presents and accessories.
